Breaking Changes
This release introduces a major update with the new Asset Relationship model, leading to breaking changes in the API endpoints used to manage assets. Abstract Assets
- Added Initial Abstract Abstract Asset Type: Application
- Enabled expanded asset management capabilities beyond Fixed Assets like Repositories, Modules, and Artifacts.
Policy Management
- Removal of Classes and Groups: Replaced with Abstract Assets.
- Policy Assignment: Policies can now be directly assigned to Abstract Assets.
Policy Variations
- Allowing the capability to create targeted variations on a single policy, inside an Abstract Asset scope
- Example: A policy can target mobile repositories scoped to the Fixed Asset, repositories
Policy Expiration
- Introducing the ability to set policies to expire at a future date
